Why Fruit Smoothies

Fruit Smoothies are a great, natural and refreshing drink that anybody can quickly make at home and drink at home, gym or for that quick breakfast in the morning on the rush to work. In addition Fruit Smoothies are:

  • Easy to make
  • Filling
  • Cost effective
  • Healthier solution over soft drinks and so called “power-drinks”

I have detailed one of my favorite Fruit Smoothie Recipe below.

Ingredients for Fruit Smoothie Recipe

2 cups milk (use skim for a low fat option)
2 banana’s roughly chopped
½ small tub natural yogurt
1 tablespoon honey
½ tablespoon cinnamon (no necessary, but gives it a great taste)
Ice cubes
Whey Protein (this is only if you want to increase your protein intake)

Method for Fruit Smoothie Recipe

Place all ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth, serve straight away – don’t worry the ice cubes that you used will keep the Fruit Smoothie cold for a while and that’s the secret with this Fruit Smoothie Recipe.
